Platform

Large slabs of welded steel on concrete base sitting in Estuary Park. This is one piece of the Estuary Park Sculpture Project, part of the 12th Annual International Sculpture Conference.
From SOS: "A large abstract, geometric shaped work with a module based on the rectangle. Numerous platforms are created by an arrangement of the shapes.
"Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $50,000 given in 1979 to the Oakland Museum Association. Funding was also provided by the Art Guild, Women's Board, Concours d'Antiques, and private donations."



Plaza Forum Terrazo

Cresent shaped area directly in front of City Hall in Frank Ogawa Plaza with symbols of Oakland including shipping cranes and Oak tree in a simplified graphics style.


Porthole at the Lake

A bronze bulkhead on a concrete base.


Power of Woman

From SOS: "Life-sized depiction of nude adult female figure, standing with arms out over her head, palms up, fingers wide; head back. R WEIR 91 copyright symbol signed." Located in small courtyard beyind the Mills College Student Union.
