| Temporary barrier mural surrounding the FDR Pier, which appears to be under construction for an indeterminate amount of time. Painted by kids from Project Yield (Cole School) under the supervision of MOCHA artist Lisa Ostapinski. The mural was part of a larger program of the Port of Oakland that included education about the bay environment. Pictures of wildfowl and the water -- sort of what the estuary may have once looked like -- were inspired by the classes. | |
